Per the latest executive orders, Governor Whitmer (Michigan) is allowing retail stores to reopen by appointment only, beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020. While this news is exciting, Emery’s has decided not to open our doors for customers just yet. However, we are planning to continue doing curbside pick-up, drop-off, and delivery. We are available for many of our services through curbside. 

Since this pandemic began, all our energy has gone into adapting. We’ve concentrated on new ways to connect virtually through social media, finding ways to do contactless sales, and looking at practices to ensure safe shopping in the future. We are so thankful for the customers who have already arranged for curbside pick-up, drop-off, and delivery. We appreciate the continued support of our local business. Emery’s is a small store with a small team, yet the tasks we must complete in order to re-open are very big. We cannot wait to see you all again soon, but for now, we are not ready. 

Until we are able to open our doors safely, for both our customers and our employees, we value your continued patience and willingness to adapt to the new ways of supporting our local business and shopping for your special gifts. We are excited about the new ideas that have come out of this (virtual sales/website changes), and feel confident we will emerge just as strong, if not stronger, than before all this craziness began.
